Conversation Campfire

 Lower School students develop and enhance their conversation skills in a fun environment that makes them want to participate -- sitting around an imaginary campfire using a conversation stick that has a marshmallow on its tip!  Through the use of visual and verbal supports, Conversation Campfire participants learn and practice how to begin conversations with specific topics, ask and answer questions about the topics, make comments, and maintain each topic for a specific period of time.  These tools help to increase the effectiveness of their conversation attempts, and over time, help students develop successful conversation skills.
