A unique tool for collecting uterine samples from broodmares for culture.
The three-piece design includes:
1) an outer clear PVC tube
2) a blue PVC swab sheath inside the outer tube
3) a white PVC swab holder with attached polystyrene cotton swab.
Fully assembled the length is 291/2" (74.93 cm). O.D. is 0.30 (0.762 cm). This combination permits the retrieval of samples in a simple and sanitary manner. After retrieval, the samples can be stored and transported safely in their protective capsule. Patent #4,586,604. Other patents are pending.
Non-sterile, 25 per polybag, 20 bags per case
