The Gasconade County Historical Society Archives & Records Center (ARC) is a one-stop facility for genealogical and general history research about Gasconade County.
The facility is located at 315 Schiller Street at the corner of 4th & Schiller in downtown Hermann. The hours are Tuesday thru Thursday 9 am - 4 pm. A bright and cheery research room and staff/volunteers greet visitors. The experienced reading room assistant or volunteers assist researchers as much or as little as they desire. Researchers work in the first-floor reading room and can have records from other levels requested.
Microfilm readers/printers are available. The staff makes photocopies as requested. Copies are $1.00 each for non-members and $.50 for Society members.
An archives shop area allows visitors to purchase all of the items which are found in our online store.
