Community Outreach


Survivors receive ongoing support such as crisis intervention, case management services, safety planning, referrals, DV support group, parenting classes, and life-skills classes. Survivors can also receive assistance with temporary restraining orders, court accompaniment, as well as advocacy with legal, financial, housing, and financial planning.  DV trained advocates will assist clients with self-sufficiency plans and receive tools to help heal from the trauma they have endured.  The program offers education, awareness, and prevention through community outreach presentations to various professionals, civic groups, social workers, parents, students, and community members on various topics included but not limited to: 

  1. Domestic Violence
  2. Healthy Relationships
  3. Domestic Violence on College Campuses
  4. Services Available for Victims of Abuse
  5. Domestic Violence in the Workplace
